Chiccorra Connor is the founder and chief executive officer of Occupancy Heroes Inc., which provides a suite of services to help multifamily teams manage, maintain, and optimize their properties. Maintenance Heroes, a division of Occupancy Heroes, focuses on all things maintenance. Connor developed a licensed maintenance apprenticeship program that has trained and employed more than 600 people since 2019. She champions affordable housing and, as an advocate for diversity and inclusion, helped develop diversity and inclusion webinars and white papers for NAA. She has been in the multifamily industry for more than 20 years and serves on various committees for NAAEI. Connor was named one of the most influential women of 2020 by the Mecklenburg Times, and was one of 100 entrepreneurs from across the country invited to The White House to advocate for minority entrepreneurship.
